More importantly, this session will look at how can we move traditional classroom lessons in a scaffolded way to meet the needs of all learners while increasing the amount of hands on & minds on time necessary for students to increase critical thinking skills. What is STEAM? This session will provide an introduction to the instructional design of a STEAM lesson. Participants should expect to leave with a working understanding of STEAM components, a variety of STEAM resources. Participants will participate in a hands on STEAM activity geared toward the elementary classroom.
